Sharp is among the many contributors in Thrillers: 100 Must Reads, where the most historical riveting stories meet today’s biggest thriller writers. Scheduled for release in July 2010 by Oceanview Publishing and edited by David Morrell and Hank Wagner, Thrillers examines 100 groundbreaking works of suspense through essays contributed by such esteemed contemporary thriller writers as David Baldacci, Steve Berry, Sandra Brown, Tess Gerritsen, Gayle Lynds, Katherine Neville, James Rollins and others.
Sharp is currently working on a book about a whistleblowing case that will be published by Dutton. In December 2010, Sharp will appear in a 10-part series on Turner Classic Movies called “Moguls and Movie Stars: A History of Hollywood,” produced by John Wilkman.
In July 2009, Sharp led a panel on “Do investigators lie? How do you deal with facts in fiction?” at the International Thriller Writers conference in New York in July. She also taught a seminar on “The Secrets of Writing Great True-Crime Suspense.” In February 2009, Sharp helped organize a West Coast party thrown by the Authors Guild as part of its landmark (and controversial) copyright agreement with Google.
